1. Welcome to Wizards Codex & Acceptance of Terms

Thank you for using Wizards Codex! This mobile application (the "App") is created, maintained, and operated by Four Oh Four Digital ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Four Oh Four Digital regarding your access to and use of the App.

By accessing, downloading, installing, creating an account for, or otherwise using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the App.

2. Definitions

• App: Refers to the "Wizards Codex" mobile application, including all associated software, features, content, and services provided by Four Oh Four Digital.
• User / You / Your: Refers to any individual accessing or using the App.
• User Content: Any content, data, or materials that you create, upload, post, or otherwise make available through the App, such as characters, spells, items, and settings.
• Four Oh Four Digital / We / Us / Our: Refers to Four Oh Four Digital, the operator of Wizards Codex.

3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

To use Wizards Codex, you must be at least thirteen (13) years old. By accessing or using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement with Four Oh Four Digital.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction (e.g., 18 in most places), you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App and agree to these Terms.

4. Your Account

4.1. Account Creation

A User account is required to access most features of the App beyond the welcome screen. You can create an account using your email address or through supported social login services (e.g., Google, Facebook). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information updated.

4.2. Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at fourohfourdigital@gmail.com of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

4.3. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time by:

• Using the account deletion feature within the App's settings, or
• Contacting us directly at fourohfourdigital@gmail.com.

Upon account deletion, your User Content may be permanently removed or anonymized, subject to our Privacy Policy. Learn more about the process here: Delete Account & Data.

5. Permitted Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of creating, managing, and interacting with fantasy content (e.g., characters, spells, items) for personal or gameplay use. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law.
• Harass, abuse, stalk, threaten, defame, or otherwise infringe or violate the rights of others (including intellectual property and privacy rights).
• Upload, post, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that is infringing, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, offensive, or otherwise violates any law or right of any third party.
• Spam, phish, troll, or engage in any other form of exploitation or unsolicited advertising within the App.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other User accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the App, through hacking, password mining, or any other means.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, adapt, or otherwise tamper with any part of the App or its underlying software.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or any other harmful or disruptive technology.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or the data contained therein.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Collect or store personal data about other Users without their explicit consent.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account, at our sole discretion, and may subject you to legal penalties.

6. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

6.1. Overview

Our application offers premium features through in-app purchases and subscriptions. These purchases are processed by Apple or Google, while subscription management and entitlement tracking are provided by RevenueCat, Inc.

Because our service requires user authentication, you acknowledge and agree that your subscription and purchase activity is associated with your user account rather than an anonymous identifier. We transmit a custom user identifier to RevenueCat so that your subscription entitlements can be securely linked to your account and applied across your devices.

RevenueCat processes your purchase history and subscription metadata solely for entitlement management, receipt validation, multi-device access, and fraud prevention. All financial transactions remain subject to Apple’s or Google’s terms and are not processed by us or by RevenueCat.

6.2. Offerings

We may offer digital items, features, or enhanced access to the App's services through in-app purchases (IAP) and subscriptions. These purchases grant you specific access rights or content within the App as described at the point of purchase.

6.3. Pricing

All prices are displayed in the App and are subject to change without prior notice, except for existing subscriptions where we will provide reasonable notice of any price changes.

6.4. Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription, it may auto-renew unless you cancel it. You are responsible for managing your subscriptions through your app store account settings. Information on how to cancel an auto-renewing subscription will be provided at the time of purchase and is generally available in your app store account.

6.5. Refunds

All purchases are non-refundable, unless required by applicable local law or the specific refund policies of the third-party app store through which the purchase was made. We do not directly handle refunds for purchases made through app stores.

7. Intellectual Property and User Content

7.1. Our Ownership

The App, including all its software, content (excluding User Content), trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos, is the exclusive property of Four Oh Four Digital and its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You acknowledge that you have no ownership rights in the App.

7.2. License to You

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Four Oh Four Digital grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the App for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment and for the creation and management of your own fantasy content within the App's functionality. You may not resell, redistribute, or reuse the App's proprietary content outside of personal or gameplay use without our express written permission.

7.3. User Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights in your User Content. You
